Developing in many different directions over the course of several years, my work is concerned with people; specifically with people and our relationships to the world(s) around us that we create and experience– via the environment, our possessions, our bodies, and other people. I explore these phenomenological relationships through distortions of form and colour in the human body and environment, and by drawing on known and imagined forms from life and from found historical references. Ultimately I aim to de-stabilize our notions of history, time, and consciousness through references to feelings of discovery, uncertainty, and nostalgia.
